Eight people are killed and 90 others are injured, including up to 19 seriously, after a tank truck carrying around 49,500 liters (13,000 gallons) of LP gas explodes at a highway interchange in the Iztapalapa borough of Mexico City. The shockwave caused by the explosion set another eighteen cars on fire.
